The team over at Plurk have been hard at work on some new features for the public. So, while twitter has been showing up Moby Dick Plurk has managed to implement a “search” feature for all the plurkers to use.
Easy to use yet difficult to find. If you look at the bottom right hand side of your timeline then you’ll notice a slightly different icon. Once a calendar now a magnifying glass in its place.
After clicking on the magnifying glass you’ll see a small window with three options:
1. Own Timeline
2. Everyone Plurks
3. Humans
The reason behind the three possible searches are fairly simple. If you remember a plurk from the day or weeks prior this feature will be able to track it down in no time. If you want to see what everyone is talking about then choosing “Everyone Plurks” would be your best bet. While the last option should be self-explanatory but if you want to see if your friends/family/enemies are on plurk.
The results are limited to the top 100 so the more descriptive you can be the better. Just by searching for “movies” will generate plurks with any mention of “movies”
If you want to go straight to the plurk page then simple go here: http://www.plurk.com/search
